Poiters, Angouleme and Limoges, all with airports, are approx. 1 hour s drive, while the drive from the ferry is approx. 4 to 6 hour s drive depending upon port of arrival.</span></p> <p><span class="style13">The farmhouse is 2km from the nearest village, which is Champagne Mouton. There is quite a bit of history attached to this village, as Joan of Arc stayed for a while in the Chateau. There is a well stocked supermarket, bank with cash machine, post office, pharmacy, garages, English speaking doctor, hotel and café etc. There are 2 markets each week. We are between 3 small towns, Ruffec, Confolens and Civray being about 18 to 20 kilometers away, each town has larger supermarkets, shops and of course the weekly markets for food etc., and a good gossip for the locals!.</span></p> <p><span class="style13">Our 19th century farmhouse is on a hillside with wonderful views down the valley and to the village on the horizon. There are only 5 houses in the commune and our nearest neighbor is 100mtrs away, the house and barn sit on an acre of land comprising of lawns, fruit and vegetables gardens, flower beds, small orchard and pool area. To the front of the house there is a graveled area with seating and a pergola leading down to a large ornamental pond. In the summer the surrounding fields are usually ablaze with sunflowers.</span></p> <p><span class="style13">There is plenty of parking space and Toulat offers spacious, comfortable accommodation for 8 people, set in beautiful tranquil gardens with a lovely view. There is a fully maintained heated private swimming pool, and of course blissful peace and quiet.</span></p> <p><span class="style13">This house is the family home of the owners, and therefore has more to offer in the way of comfort than most holiday lets. The pool will be cleaned regularly at a time to suit you.</span></p> <p><span class="style13">The accommodation and facilities are as follows:</span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Living Room: </b>Large room containing 2 settees, a gentleman s armchair and large coffee table, wall unit with flat screen 81cm SKY TV, DVD, Video and Stereo Player, it is possible to pipe the music into the kitchen and the pool area, (Large selection of DVD s & CDs available). Antique pine chest, marble topped antique drinks cabinet and marble topped sideboard. Fully carpeted.</span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Kitchen/Diner: </b>Very large room, fully equipped with fitted cupboards, double duel fuel cooker (hob gas - double ovens electric), microwave, toaster and electric kettle. Walk in pantry with large fridge. Large solid oak dining table with 6 matching chairs. (More chairs available) Ornamental dresser filled with glasses and tableware. Large cosy angle settee and antique coffee table in front of log burner. Flat screen Sky TV and DVD player.</span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Utility Room: </b>Dishwasher, chest freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, table and cupboard with kids stuff -pencils, paints, paper, jigsaws and books etc. Seperate toilet and washbasin.</span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Master Bedroom/On Suite: </b>Four poster double bed, bedside tables, fitted cupboards, chest of drawers, dressing table, painted antique chest and antique lounger style chair. The bathroom is Victorian style with roll top bath, shower, bidet, fitted washbasin, washstand and a collection of Victorian photographs. Both rooms look out over the lovely view. </span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Bedroom/On Suite: </b>Very pretty room, double bed with mirrored headboard, bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, washstand and fully carpeted. Also overlooking lovely view. The Bathroom has a bath, shower, bidet, washbasin, wall cupboard and is fully carpeted. </span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Bedroom: </b>Princess size sleigh bed, bedside tables, dressing table, wardrobe and settee. Chestnut wood flooring. Overlooking garden and pool.</span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Bedroom: </b>Twin bedded room with bedside table, desk, TV, video player (large selection of video s) and bookcases with large selection of books. Fully carpeted.</span></p> <p><span class="style13"><b>Outside: </b> There are several seating areas, a shaded gazebo to the front of the house with a table and 4 chairs, and at the rear a shady area, again with a small table and 4 chairs, great for having breakfast! A wooden bench by the pond under a weeping willow tree to sit and watch the wildlife. A large Summerhouse which contains a teak dining table, 6 matching chairs, 2 comfy armchairs and a full sized BBQ. There is also a mini-fridge, great for keeping your beer cold ! The summerhouse is next to the swimming pool.</span></p> <p><span class="style13">The alarmed swimming pool is 10 x 5 metres, and at the deep end is 2m 40cm to allow for diving from the diving board. The pool is heated to 28c, with roman steps at the shallow end. Sun-loungers and parasol are provided. The pool area is completely private, surrounded by hedges. By the pool is a little children s room, where they can escape from the sun, it is carpeted and contains some toys and furniture.</span></p> <p class="f-lp"><span class="style13">Free Wi-Fi is
